This 2013 edition is huge, comprehensive and extremely dense. Written in as readable a prose as you could expect from a textbook, the book itself is still tough sledding, and the topical nature of the material means that the book will begin to be less relevant as time passes. For now, in 2015, it is relatively up to date and a valuable resource. The CD set is amazingly easy to listen to and summarizes the book well. Try to get them both together.

great text books, barely used and the learning supplementals were very helpful and unscratched.
